About Us
About Simple Liquidation
Simple Liquidation is a trading name of Leading Business Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (CRN 09486754, VAT 208815016). We provide UK company liquidation services led by licensed Insolvency Practitioners, helping directors close companies in a compliant, structured, and professional way.
Our liquidators are authorised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA). The firm is led by Jamie Playford FABRP MIPA and Alex Dunton MABRP, both licensed Insolvency Practitioners authorised to act in the UK.
Who We Work With
We work with directors of both solvent and insolvent limited companies who need a clear and cost-effective route to liquidation. This includes directors considering a Members’ Voluntary Liquidation, as well as those facing creditor pressure, HMRC arrears, or ongoing cash flow difficulties.
We understand that cost is a major concern for directors. In some cases, directors are seeking an efficient way to close a solvent company. In others, the fear of high costs can prevent directors from taking action, increasing the risks of continuing to trade while insolvent. Our role is to explain the options clearly and help directors meet their legal obligations.
Regulated Insolvency Practitioners, Not Brokers
Simple Liquidation is not an intermediary, broker, or lead-generation business. All cases are handled directly by our in-house team of insolvency professionals under the supervision of licensed Insolvency Practitioners.
This means directors deal with qualified professionals from the outset, with no sales hand-offs and no third-party referral arrangements.
Experience and Professional Standards
The Insolvency Practitioners behind Simple Liquidation have over 30 years’ combined experience and have dealt with hundreds of solvent and insolvent companies across a wide range of industries.
Both Insolvency Practitioners are members of:
- The Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3)
- The Insolvency Practitioners Association
All work is carried out in accordance with UK insolvency legislation and professional regulatory standards.
Talking Things Through
We are always happy to talk through a director’s situation and explain the available options. Initial conversations are no-obligation and focused on providing clear, practical guidance on the most appropriate course of action for the company and its directors.
